If you're looking for a young, sweet, spunky, entertaining, active yet snuggly, playful, smart, beautiful kitty who needs to be the only kitty and has to eat boringly bland food (lol!), please give this girl a chance! She deserves a good home after what this poor baby has been through.<br/><br/>Juniper is a stunningly beautiful Abssynian mix. She is an approximately 1-2yrs old brown speckled tabby. She was rescued along with her two kittens from an abandoned house.<br/><br/>Juniper is long and lean with a very long thin tail. She has classic oriental breed/Abyssinian features. She very much looks like an exotic cat and has the personality to match!<br/><br/>This girl is so incredibly sweet! She loves to be held and petted and get all of the attention! I frequently take naps with her in my arms, she puts her front paws up and stands on her hind legs to be picked up! <br/><br/>Juniper can share the house with other cats, however, because she must have experienced some food scarcity in her life, she has become food protective and is apparently willing to guard her food 24/7 when other cats are present. So she would be best if she could just be the queen of the house!<br/><br/>She is very active and curious, and has to explore everything. She would benefit from a home setting where she would have plenty of things to run and jump and explore indoors (wall shelves, cat trees, hammocks, etc). She is equally as snuggly though, she loves to lay on your chest and just purr and make little biscuits.<br/><br/>Juniper started to have some digestive issues a few weeks into her being here, and after testing, medications,, vet visits, and diet changes, her diagnosis is IBD. She has been responsive to a hydrolyzed diet. That seems to have done the trick and she will require hydrolyzed food (they make multiple kinds) from here on out. Her tummy could not process regular food.
