Junior & Lucy's Story

These two sweet souls need a soft place to land.

A couple of weekends ago, Lucy and Junior lost everything when their beloved human died in a car accident. Just like that, their whole world changed.

I have been fostering them, and can personally attest to what incredibly sweet cats they are... gentle, loving, and clearly very bonded to each other. They sleep together, follow each other, and find comfort side by side. Because of that, I will not separate them. They have already endured enough loss.

Lucy is a beautiful gray and white female who just wants to make buscuits on a warm lap. Junior, the handsome ginger, is a very curious boy. They are both about a year and a half old, fully vetted, and truly spoiled in the best way. They were deeply loved.

Their previous home did not have dogs, so they have not been exposed to them. With a proper transition and in the right location, they could enjoy some outdoor time, if that is something you can offer them safely.

I am doing my best to follow my heart and find the kind of home I believe their former person would have wanted for them - stable, loving, and forever.

If you or someone you know and trust can offer that, please reach out. Let’s honor her by making sure her babies are safe and cherished for the rest of their lives. ❤️🐾

Please share.

Merrick Stern
Director, Storybook Rescues

---------------------------

All Storybook Rescues' cats and kittens are microchipped and fully vetted before adoption, including up-to-date on vaccines and spaying or neutering.
