This pretty girl is Junie B.! Junie B. is a shy, anxious, but very sweet, 4-5 year old Siamese Mix that was brought to SCAC when her previous owner could no longer care for her properly. This girl tends to be on the shyer side and will take longer than usual to adjust to her new home. She can get easily overstimulated when being pet, but will initiate when she would like some attention. She enjoys catnip, exploring the cat room, treats, and attention on her terms. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
