Juneau's Story

Introducing Juneau! This little fluff ball was found in the woods, abandoned with her siblings. They were all in pretty bad shape...Juneau had an injury and infection in right eye. We thought she may lose the eye entirely, but she surprised us and her eye is 100% intact! She does have some mild scarring as a result of the injury but is otherwise 100% healthy! Juneau is a bit of a wallflower, preferring to observe the room before jumping in on the fun. But once she does, she loves crinkle balls and toy mice and anything she can proudly drag around the room (for a wallflower, she does sometimes like to show off!). Juneau gets along with other cats and dogs, but seems particularly fond of her brother, Sitka (short hair, orange tabby). They are not bonded, but we would love for them to be adopted together! She is estimated to have been born March 29, 2026.

All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control, and have been spayed/neutered. Adoption fee is $120.

If you are interested in this sweetie, please fill out the adoption application on our website http://www.homewardboundwv.org

For more information, please email us at adopt@homewardboundwv.org

Thank you!
