July's Story

Hi, my name is July. I am estimated to be about 3 years old. I came to the shelter 11/4/25 as part of a cruelty case. Ive never been in a home of any sort. I was confined to a cat carrier for as long as I could remember. I had no litter box, no bed, no blanket, nothing. Food and sometimes water. Since coming to the shelter, Ive used my litter box with no problem. I love laying in my comfy bed, playing with my toys and giving an absurd amount of love to all of the staff here! I like to hug people and then hop up into their arms and nuzzle my head into them. I finally feel safe with people. I have a history of urinary blockages, which is managed with a special prescription food that I'll have to use for the rest of my life. I do good with other cats, but I just worry about living with other cats who aren't on my same diet, because I can't afford to eat any other cat food since it will truly set me back and can make my blockages resurface. If you have a way to seperate me from the other cats during feeding time, i'd be okay to try that. Its finally time for me to start my journey to finding a forever family and I couldn't be happier. It will take me some time to adjust to such a huge (positive) change, but I am so ready for that day to come
