Julius's Story

Looking for a gentle boy who loves to be near by, long naps and head/chin scratches/rubs? Meet Julius! He’s a gentle giant who just wants to find a favorite spot or two to nap and hang out with you. He also enjoys playing with wand toys and chasing balls and other small toys. He prefers to eat cat nip over rolling around in it. The most ginger thing about him is that his purrs sound like snores. Julius is really sweet and is good with being picked up. He does well with nail clippings if wrapped like a burrito. He’s not a shy boy and should settle right into your home! He is FIV+, but otherwise in good health. Julius has done well with being introduced to a new cat. He is currently living with Mr. Cheesy and they get along well. They could be adopted separately or together. If you’re looking for 2 special ginger boys who like to wrestle and chase each other, consider both Julius and Mr. Sir Cheesy Puff.

Dogs: Unknown
Cats: Probably fine, only fought with other intact males.
Kids: Yes, no signs of aggression, he is big and likes to rub so may knock a toddler over on accident.
Medical: FIV+, but overall healthy once moved inside and healed from wounds from being outside
