Juliana is a 2 year old dainty little angel looking for a quiet home where she can finally relax and feel safe! Juliana arrived at our shelter as a scared stray momma cat doing her best to care for her babies on the street. Juliana did amazingly and somehow managed to protect her kids and keep them healthy until help arrived. While her babies were social and confident (thanks to their mom's excellent care) Juliana was timid. After a life of fending for her family, dodging cars and avoiding danger, she was tired and weary of humans. With dedicated socialization and loving care, we earned Juliana's trust and showed her that life indoors with people is the best way for a kitty to thrive! Now, Juliana is a total mushball. She loves gentle scratches and REALLY loves anything she can snuggle into-beds, blankets, towels, and the palm of your hand. She loves to climb and regularly perches herself on top of the cat towers in our playroom. She is obsessed with her spinning ball tower and typically stands on it waiting for pets. Juliana has warmed up to other cats at the shelter with a slow introduction (as long as they don't swat at her - that is super scary) and loves people who have a similar gentle approach. She would be an excellent quiet low-key companion for someone who just wants some laid back company!
