Julia's Story
Meet Julia! Bonded with Julian. When she arrived, she was very scared of humans and was what the vet called "feral-ish. She refused to be touched and tried to slink away and hide as far away as absolutely possible. Over the past months her foster family has given her space, time, and lots of patience, working with her daily to become familiar with human sounds, sights, and smells. Her progress has been exciting. She is still a bit skittish around humans but loves rubbing up against legs (especially when dinner is about to be served!) and is becoming braver with receiving pets and human touch. These days, she often greets her foster family at the door. Her curiosity is winning over, and in this case, curiosity will save the cat!

Julia is a healthy, normal cat who loves to romp with her siblings. She is not mean or aggressive, just shy and timid. Julia is very food motivated and loves both her wet and dry food. She loads well into her kitty carrier (dark, cozy spaces are the best!!), Julia now sleeps in bed with me and is very affectionate. She loves to be pet. While still skittish, (unexpected movement or sound still takes her off guard), she has warmed up so much!

Julia is a gorgeous girl with the silkiest fur and beautiful light brown tabby/tortoiseshell markings and blonde "eyebrows. She would be happiest in a home with other cats/kittens to play with and help coax her out of her shell around humans. While she has not displayed any negative behavior towards children, she does run and hide. She loves toys and wrestling and chasing things. She needs a household that is willing to take the time to work with her and earn her trust. Could that home be yours?

Interested in this sweet cat?
