Julep's Story

Julep was rescued on Kentucky Derby day, after spending two days hanging around on the front sidewalk outside someone’s house in Baltimore City, seeming lost. She had recently been nursing kittens, although no kittens were with her… and she’s barely more than a kitten herself, the vet estimated her to only be about 7 months old.

She can be a bit shy at first, but she’s a very friendly and cuddly girl once she settles in. She LOVES to watch what’s going on outside through the windows! If you’ve got birds or squirrels someone needs to keep an eye on, she’s your girl!

She has lived with both dogs and cats in her two foster homes and done well, although she’s a bit scared of dogs at first and will do best with calmer, cat-friendly dogs. She really seemed to enjoy the company of other cats and would likely enjoy having a kitty friend!

She is now spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. She’s a great young cat with tons of love to give!

Julep is not part of Walter Rescue but is being listed here as a courtesy.
