JUDY's Story

JUDY was found as a stray. This pretty, long-haired tiger has been a bit shy but is warming up to her new situation. JUDY has discovered she really likes wet food. She also enjoyed the times in the intake room where, as they were cleaning her kennel, she was allowed to explore.

JUDY doesn't mind being picked up and likes cuddles. She also will purr to show how much she likes the attention. She does not, however, like to be petted below mid-back. Perhaps something happened during her time as a stray. There are no visible signs of injury, and she certainly can run, jump, climb. Some cats just have boundaries.

As a stray, we do not know how she feels about other cats, dogs, or children. She did take a bit to be friendly towards staff, so she may need some time to warm up to other pets. Children should be old enough to understand and practice the rules of soft touch, no squeezing hugs, and if kitty wants down, let the kitty go! Judy is young enough to adapt to a new family, but every kitty should have a cat tree or a gated area that they can escape to if things get to be too stressful.

This young cat is barely older than the kitten stage, so she is looking for a family who will love her, find her kitten zoomies adorable, and let her grow old with them!

DOB-09/2025 Entered Shelter-06/2026

If you would like to adopt JUDY, please come to the shelter during Adoption hours Monday and Wednesday from 4-7 or Saturday from 10-1.
