Judy's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Meet Judy!

Judy is a spirited little kitten who will keep you laughing every single day. She’s a total snuggle bug and absolutely fabulous with other cats, kids, and even dogs. Because she’s so playful and social, Judy must have another young, playful cat in the home to keep her company.

Judy has lots of quirky habits that make her one-of-a-kind. She still nurses on blankets for comfort, loves splashing in any water she can find (sink, shower, or even dirty dishes!), and thinks climbing up your legs is a perfectly acceptable game. She’s also a bit of a foodie she’ll try just about anything, from tomatoes and apples to even the tops of pineapples, and has no problem ripping open a bag to get to her treasure. She may even sneak in a midnight snack...of your hair!

She’s curious, adventurous, and yes—occasionally mischievous (like climbing blinds or knocking over cups just for fun). But when she’s all tuckered out, Judy will curl up for snuggles and remind you why life with a kitten is so special.

If you’re ready for love, laughter, and just a little chaos, Judy is waiting to meet you!

Judy was an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
