Judiah's Story

Judia is the ringleader of her litter. She's playful, curious and fearless - she's not even afraid of the vacuum! She's athletic too, and her acrobatics are gold medal level. She loves to ride around on her foster mom's shoulder like a little black parrot so she can get a good view of the world around her. Judia enjoys the company of her sisters Masa and Calabasa, and would love to either be adopted with one of them, or join a family with another friendly kitty who can be her playmate and cuddly buddy.

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues.  Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted.  Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore.  Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
