Joy's Story

Meet Joy. What can I say? This sweet kitten brought some much-needed joy into her fosters’ lives before she even had the name. Joy is a sweet and gentle soul. She is just shy of being 3 months old. She is a beautiful gray striped tabby with hints of dilute tortie orange markings. She has beautiful long and spirited hair! Joy craves love and attention, without being demanding, and relishes quality time spent together.

She is energetic and fun to watch play. She loves to climb and explore. She is very smart and has enjoyed learning to drink from a water fountain. Joy really enjoys playing with her foster kitten friends, eating a healthy meal, having a session of the sillies, and then softly finding a warm spot on your lap to curl up and nap.

Joy will be a gift and special presence in any home. She will best thrive in a home that is gentle, yet vibrant, with another cat friendly cat or similarly aged kitten. She’s done well with both younger and older cats and kittens. Joy would likely do well around children that would be gentle and respectful of her. She has not yet been around dogs. Joy would do excellently with one of her foster siblings, Oscar, Troy, or Shelli. Typically, at this age, we adopt in pairs and are unsure if she would do well as a solo kitten. Joy will be ready for adoption in approx. 2-3 weeks and is available to meet now.
