JOY's Story
Joy is a beautiful two year old marbled tabby, a former house cat who has already lived the indoor life and clearly knows how to love people…on her terms.

In a foster home, she was affectionate and happy to seek out attention. Leg weaves, head bumps, little love licks - the whole “you are my person” experience.
And then she’d initiate the Sensory Overload Protocol. No warning. No countdown. Just a very clear “that’s enough.”

Joy isn’t mean, she’s honest! She has boundaries and expects you to respect them. And when you do, she’s an awesome, low-drama companion.

Now that she’s back at the shelter, she’s overwhelmed and not showing that side of herself. Right now, you’ll see the scared version, not the cat she was in a home.

Joy is looking for an adopter as unique as she is. Someone who can look past the stress, see her potential, and appreciate a cat who comes with a little complexity.
If you like a challenge, respect a strong personality, and don’t need a clingy cat, Joy might be exactly your type

E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information!

Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
