Meet Joy

Joy is a shy young girl who came to us as a stray. She is estimated to be about two years old and is still learning to be comfortable around humans. She started off very scared and nervous, and went into foster care to work on her socialization where she emerged feeling a lot more comfortable with humans. Now, she still cowers at first, but when you pet her she purrs the entire time and even makes biscuits! She still has ways to go in terms of socialization, and for that reason we are looking for a very quiet household that is adult only. Due to her fearful personality we feel she would do best as the only pet in the home. Her adopter should be comfortable with the fact that she may always be a more aloof and shy cat, but she will still be an amazing pet who has lots of love to give!
