Journee's Story

***Sharonville Location ***

Journee has not had the easiest start in life but fate is looking out for her…it brought her to us! Initially someone’s trap and release, she was ear tipped and spayed but not chipped. She was found during the height of cold weather, trapped in the median on a busy 4 lane highway. She allowed her rescuer to catch her, somehow aware that she needed saving! She is shy and takes awhile to trust but the payoff is great once you earn it. She is affectionate and loyal. Very neat, tidy, and quiet. Would do well in small environments like an apartment. Perfect for an older person who wants a lap cat or a first time pet owner. Not expected to do well in a home with dogs or young children.
Please consider making an appointment to meet sweet little Journee and see if she’d be the perfect companion for you!

FIV/FeLV negative

*Must be 21 or older to adopt **Our shelter has a policy this only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.

HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy
All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Please see our list of adoptable dogs and cats or check our Facebook page at Facebook.com/HearttCincy. Not all of our animals are shown on Petfinder. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you. Give us a call to enrich the life of a deserving dog or cat, as well as your own! All adoptions are made by appointment only. Email HaveAHeartt@yahoo.com to begin the process.
