Joni's Story

Meet Joni, a sweet brown tabby kitten born around May 9. Little Joni was rescued and brought inside on Canada Day, and her brother Mitchell shortly thereafter. Because of this special holiday connection, they were named after the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell.

Joni has adapted beautifully to life indoors with humans. She absolutely adores being pet and will instantly start up her extra-loud purr motor to show her appreciation. Since this brother-and-sister duo are the perfect match, they would love to be adopted into a forever home together. They will be ready for their big adventure in early to mid-August when they are around 12 weeks old.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
