Jonah is a striking but shy guy who is dreaming of a quiet, low-key home. He's one of those cats who may always disappear around strangers, which of course isn't making it easier for him to meet his forever family in a shelter environment...after all, everybody's a stranger. In the time he's spent at Woodford Humane, we've seen him make big strides in his comfort level with his temporary home and all the folks who come with it - but it has definitely taken time and gentle patience, and he'll need his forever family to give him that too. <br/><br/>Jonah is not interested in a home with kids; too scary, too active, too much noise. He has lived with another cat, and while he probably wouldn't mind living with another cat again, he also doesn't particularly seem to be craving feline companionship. What he really needs is a cat person who understands a classic scaredy cat, and will love him even from afar, when he feels the need to go into hiding for a moment.
