Meet Misha’s little storm-drain crew: Jolene “June Bug,” Harper, River, Forest, Cricket and Birdie! <br/><br/>These six babies were born on August 4 after their mom, Misha, was found caring for them in the bushes outside a home in Maiden, North Carolina. Being the smart and protective mom she is, Misha moved her babies into a nearby storm drain before rescuers could bring the family to safety. Misha certainly gave us a run for our money! After more than a week, multiple rescue attempts and two trips nearly 30 feet into the storm drain, this devoted mama and all six of her babies were finally safe. <br/><br/>Now the kittens are growing, discovering their personalities and preparing for the next chapter of their lives. They will be available for adoption beginning September 29 and are searching for loving families of their own. These sweet babies have already had quite an adventure.
