Over the last ten years, more than 4,000 cats and kittens found in feral colonies have been given a new lease on life thanks to PACS Cats on the Border initiative.

Adoptable cats and kittens removed from feral colonies in the communities of Rome and Warren Center, PA and Nichols, Barton and Waverly, NY are socialized, completely vetted and offered for adoption. Additional "Cats on the Border" services provided have included food, medications, parasite treatment and adoption opportunities.

SAFER Cats on the Border program is a very successful example of a tri-state collaboration between NJ, NY & PA for the benefit of animals.
