John Wayne's Story

Sweet! Gentle! Regal bearing. John Wayne is one of 4 siblings who were found along with their mom Ginger in a community cat colony. John Wayne is very sweet but shy. Last year he developed esophagiitis, which makes it difficult for him to eat dry food. He needs to be on a wet food only diet.

He has been in foster care since March 2024. His foster parents describe him as sweet and affectionate. they have 3 other cats, and the wet food restriction that John Wayne is on has not been a difficult issue for them.

1/24/25: Update from fosters: He’s doing really well!! He’s super playful, and loves pets. He adores other cats, often grooming them or sleeping with them, and he’ll often run up for pets when he sees another kitty getting pets. He is sensitive to change and will require some time to get to know you.
