Joey's Story

Meet Joey! This handsome little guy has a personality all his own. Joey isn't the type to run up and greet everyone he meets-he's a little more selective about his social circle and prefers to take things at his own pace. He likes having his space and will let you know how he feels from afar, so it's important to respect his boundaries. He also gives off serious old-man vibes, as if he has strong opinions about the neighborhood, the weather, and whether everyone is following the proper household routine. If you're looking for a kitten with plenty of personality and opinions, Joey may be your guy!

Joey enjoys exploring his surroundings and keeping an eye on whatever interesting things are happening around him. He's not overly social, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a sweet side. He simply prefers interactions on his terms and would appreciate a home that will give him the time and space to settle in and show you who he really is.

Joey is still young and has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him. With patience, respect for his boundaries, and some fun toys to keep him entertained, we think this little guy will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a cat with plenty of character-and the soul of a grumpy old man!

Medical Note: A grade 3 heart murmur was detected during Joey's neuter. Heart murmurs can sometimes be innocent, but we won't know whether this is the case for Joey until he is rechecked. He will need a follow-up examination in approximately 3-4 weeks to reassess the murmur and determine if any additional evaluation is needed.
