Joey's Story
Joey is a very special cat. He is very shy and unsure about the world around him... but once he gets to know you he comes out of his shell and is playful and will snuggle with you. The shelter has too many strangers (visitors) so he spends most of his time in his emotional support cactus, though he does come out for his favorite volunteers. He will most likely hide in his new home till he feels safe, so he is looking for a home with someone patient who will allow him to move at his own pace. He does love to be pet and get head scritches once he trusts you, he will even let you pet him while he is chilling in his cactus. He needs a quiet home with no kids or loud parties. He does get along with the other cats in his room so he would probably be okay with other low key pets. If you are looking for a quiet cat that will eventually end up being your new best friend, even if it takes awhile, Joey may be the cat for you.
