Joe's Story
"Hurricane Joe"? Is that me? Is that why I had wounds on my head, shoulders, and legs when I first arrived at the shelter? It IS the name of one of the many books in Franklin W. Dixon's Hardy Boys Mystery series. I am named after the younger of the two brothers in the famous series. I was living outdoors with my brother Frank when we were found in Austin. Life is tough when you're living rough. We were relieved and happy to be fed, and our finder said that we liked playing with toys. She said we really need to be in a home where someone will take good care of us. Frank and I were nervous when we got here and startled at sudden movements, but now that we've settled in, we're friendly, affectionate guys. We both love pets. After all we've been through together, we've become bonded to each other. We'd like to be adopted together. Who could split up the Hardy Boys?! Come in and get to know Frank and Joe!

Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
