JoJo's Story

JOJO is a male-neutered short hair black kitten, with white below his neck. He was born about August 2025, then rescued December 2025 as a stray kitten from the back yard of his rescuer. He was relinquished to YAPS late April 2026 when his owner no longer could continue caring for him. Per his prior owner: "He's a sweet little guy with a little crooked tail & a lot of personality. He's playful, affectionate, enjoys being petted, & having his face & neck rubbed. He's good with other cats, but may be shy with strange people until he knows them." We find him to be handsome & loving. He likes to be petted.

Yucaipa Animal Placement Society's Adoption Policy
The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and a microchip for dogs and cats. We do a thorough assessment of the animal’s temperament and needs so that we can find both them and you the companion of a lifetime. Our goal is to adopt out pets into permanent, loving homes. The YAPS Team is here to help you choose a pet that will fit in with your lifestyle and bring harmony to your home. YAPS does not currently offer transport for adopters outside of our surrounding area. Adopters must adopt a pet in person at our facility or adoption events.
