JoJo's Story

Joe (JoJo) – Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 6/1/2024. JoJo is current on his vaccines and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). JoJo is grey and white and is a big boy!!!

LAS received a call in February from a person concerned that JoJo had a sore on his left leg. He was out in the cold all winter, and they had seen him off and on and were worried about him. We went out and got him and took him directly to the vet, who sedated JoJo, cleaned and treated the wound, and then we brought him back to our shelter to recover.

He was thin, his coat was sparse, and the pads on his feet needed to heal from the cold. We just gave him time to recover and hang out awhile!! Who left him out there, not neutered and in the cold? It’s so hard to imagine his life.

And what a gift we got! JoJo turns out to be the sweetest, lovey big boy!!! He just loves attention!! He is very social, loving, playful, and certainly handsome! He is not aggressive at all. Nothing but purrs and rolling over when you pet him. Just nothing but rave reviews at our shelter!

JoJo would do well with another social cat given proper introductions. He would also do well with young people — again, with proper introductions. He would LOVE to have a real home and family! We have no information yet on his interactions with dogs.

If you’d like to meet JoJo or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website:
www.loveastraycat.com
