When JoAnn first arrived at the shelter, she spent her first few days hiding and terrified of the shelter. She was soaking up the attention and gentle pets from our staff and volunteers all while enjoying all the tasty snacks we would give her. We soon discovered that JoAnn loves other cats. She is very gentle with other cats wanting to become their best friends, but she understands that not every cat wants to be friends right away. Once she has become friends with cats, she loves to play with them and will follow them around gently rubbing them.
