Jitters (purple)'s Story
These adorable kittens have a developmental condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. But don't assume these kitties aren't zany just like every other kitten.

These silly little kitties play with energy levels turned to full throttle! They are mischievous and sweet and downright hilarious with their antics.

What is CH?
The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination.

Kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia are not infectious to other cats, are not in any pain, and will learn to adapt to their disability over time as they get older.

If their symptoms are pronounced, they may require special modifications in their home environment, including dishes that are raised off the floor for easier access.

Although some cats may be more prone to minor injuries associated with falls the life expectancy is that of a normal cat.
