Jingles's Story
Meet Jingles: A Chatty, Cuddly Girl Who Loves to Be Loved

Jingles is a total sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger voice. This lovable girl adores being held and cuddled, and she's always happy to curl up in a lap for some quality snuggle time. If you pick her up, expect instant purrs - she's a professional cuddler and proud of it.

Jingles has tested positive for FIV and is currently at her foster's with another FIV + cat (Caramia). While FIV often sounds scarier than it is, FIVpositive cats are expected to live long, happy lives with proper care. FIV+ cats can live with cats who are not FIV+, provided they are not aggressive towards other cats to the point of biting. Careful introduction and observation is required if you are bringing a new FIV+ kitty into an FIV free home to ensure that the cats will get along. FIV is NOT spread through casual contact, such as sharing food and water dishes or litter boxes.

Jingles has a calm, easygoing personality and handles new situations remarkably well. Traveling, visiting new places, or even going to work with her foster doesn't faze her at all. She takes everything in stride and settles in comfortably wherever she goes.

What makes Jingles extra special:
Extremely affectionate and cuddly
Purrs every time she's held
Loud, chatty meow - she wants you to hear her
Confident and relaxed in new environments
A true lap cat

Jingles loves attention but is also content simply being near her people, quietly keeping them company. She's outgoing with new people and does wonderfully meeting strangers - when her foster brought her to work, Jingles happily greeted coworkers and soaked up pets in the conference room like she owned the place.

She does well with other cats and has shown calm curiosity around dogs, even when they've unexpectedly crossed paths. She's used to a lively home with dogs, puppies, and plenty of noise, and handles it all beautifully. While she hasn't been around children yet, her laidback, loving nature suggests she could do well with respectful kids.

Jingles would fit well into many types of indoor homes - as long as there's affection to share, someone to talk to, and a lap available now and then.

If you're looking for a confident, loving cat who will happily cuddle, chat with you about her day, and greet new friends with ease, Jingles may be the perfect match.
