Jilly's Story

Beautiful Jilly has perfected the art of enjoying life’s simple pleasures: a warm lap, a sunny window, a good brushing, and plenty of snuggles. She is a calm, mellow sweetheart who is also talkative and isn’t afraid to let you know when it is time for a little attention!

Jilly is a 12-year-old, spayed Russian Blue mix who is at UPAWS through no fault of her own. After ten years with her family, worsening allergies made it impossible for them to continue caring for her.

She loves watching birds through the window, basking in the sunshine, and enjoying a little catnip. Jilly has lived with a large dog and other cats. She was friendly with the dog and peacefully independent around the cats—she didn’t seek them out, but she wasn’t aggressive. She could be happy sharing her home with respectful pets or being the only kitty and having all the attention to herself.

Jilly has so much love and companionship to give. She is ready to bring her calm, loving presence to a home that will truly treasure her.

Pet Adoption & Care Sponsorship from John Henry.
