Jewel (Tripod Kittie)'s Story
Meet Jewel 💎

This beautiful young girl was found roaming the streets of Philly. Once she was safely trapped, Cat Tales stepped in to give her the care she deserved. Jewel was taken to the vet, where she was spayed, vaccinated, and transported right into foster care to recover.

It quickly became clear that Jewel’s right back foot was deformed. She had only two toes, without paw pads, and her leg was shorter than the other, making walking difficult, more of "sliding" on that side. After careful consideration, it was decided that amputation would give her the best chance at a healthy, pain-free life.

Now a happy tripod, Jewel is truly living her best indoor life. She doesn’t let anything slow her down and has fully embraced her new normal.

What’s she missing? A family to call her own. Jewel would do wonderfully as a solo kitty or, with a slow introduction, could happily share her home with another cat. She is incredibly friendly, playful, and loves being picked up and placed in a warm lap. Her coat is luxuriously soft, and her personality is as sweet as it gets, calm, affectionate, and easygoing.

Jewel is ready to shine in a forever home 💕
