Jewel's Story
JEWEL A SMART MOM WHO KNEW WHAT WAS BEST FOR HER KIDS!
READY TO BE ADOPTED FROM RESQCATS!

Jewel was a smart stray when she wandered into a ladys apartment door....well, it was open so maybe she just felt welcome. Then she found a soft place and gave birth to three kittens in the ladys home!
Jewel obviously belonged to someone at some point because she is very very friendly. And beautiful doesnt begin to describe this orange and white girl...usually orange tabby cats are males. So she is unique in so many ways.
Jewel has been a wonderful attentive mother. She was so upset when her little one, Julius, had to spend three days in the ER after aspirating on her milk. She paced, cried and was unconsolable. So we feel it is important that Jewel goes home with one of her kittens, Julius, Jet or Junebug. We at RESQCATS are going to do our best to see that happen, but we need your help...a mom and a baby...just too cute to pass up. (see the photo where she is nursing!)
Jewel has had a vet exam and is tested for Felv/FIV. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
You can meet her at RESQCATS...a rare chance to actually visit the sanctuary. Call Jeffyne for an adoption appointment at (805)452-4185.
