Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue<br/>, Meow meet Jett! He learned early that the world isn’t always kind. This handsome black cat grew up having to protect himself, to hide his softness just to survive. Love wasn’t something he could count on - it was something he had to live without. But somehow...he never let it leave him. The moment you touch him you feel it. He leans in like it means everything. Like you mean everything. And when you stop, he reanches out - gently pulling your hand back - asking, in the only way he knows, please don’t stop ...please don’t go. It’s impossible not to feel it in your chest. There’s a tiny white patch hidden in on his tummy, like a secret piece of his heart he only shows when he feels safe. And when he does, when he trusts you enough to let you see all of him...it feels like a gift he’s been saving his whole life. He loves to be brushed, to be held in quiet moments, to play like the world never hurt him. He had every reason to close off. But he doesn’t. He chose love anyway. And now all he wants...is someone who will choose him back! All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
