JETHRO's Story
Meet Jethro! This handsome guy is ready to find a home of his own where he can settle in and shine. Jethro is a sweet soul who will thrive with a patient adopter willing to give him the care he needs to stay happy and healthy. Jethro has been diagnosed with a condition called eosinophilic keratitis (EK), which affects the surface of his right eye. While it may sound intimidating, the good news is that he's already responding really well to treatment! He's currently receiving medicated eye drops, and his care plan involves gradually reducing how often they're needed over time. Some cats with EK only require occasional treatment long-term. Because of this, Jethro will need an adopter who is comfrotable continuing his eye medication and working closely with a vet. A follow-up visit with a primary care vet soon after adopter will be important to keep his treatment on track and ensure his eye continues to improve. With a little extra care and attention, Jethro is expected to do very well - and he'll repay you with plenty of love and purrs.
