What is The Cat's Meow Rescue’s adoption process?

At TCMR, we do our best to help families find the right kitty, as well as make sure our kitties are going to a home that is right for them. We are very happy to talk with potential adopters to help them select a new kitty that will be the purrfect addition to the family. We have an adoption application and adoption agreement that must be completed and approved. Once approved, we set up a meet and greet with the family and the kitty(s) of interest so they can get to know the cats and make sure they find just what they are looking for. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, have received feline distemper and rabies vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment. The adoption also comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and each kitty is microchipped.

Is Jerri good with kids?

Jerri is not good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Jerri good with other animals?

Jerri is good with other cats. It is not known if Jerri is good with dogs.

When can I meet Jerri?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Jerri?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
