Jenny's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jenny came in as a stray from a TNR location. She was being bullied by the other cats there and was losing weight. We brought her in and got her vet care, vaccinations and flea treatment. We are working on getting her fattened up. Jenny does not like other cats but may tolerate with proper introduction and time. Jenny is very affectionate and does not mind being picked up. Great lap cat but she doesn’t like her back (by her tail) being pet. _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent. Potential adopters will fill out an adoption contract. You must be willing to have a home visit prior to being approved. The adoption contract covers the following items: -you can not declaw the cat -if the adoption does not work out, or if at any time you can no longer care for the cat you will contact Mountain Cats and return the cat -you can not sell or give away the cat for any reason -the cat will be an indoor cat unless Mountain Cats and the adopter have made other arrangements Adoption fee is $100
