Our Mission
The mission of Mountain Cats TNR is to control the population of feral cats on the mountain in the Harpers Ferry, WV area by using Trap-Neuter-Return. The cats that we can not return to the areas where they were found we adopt out to wonderful new homes. Often times these cats are kittens and their moms or just cats with really great personalities that we hope can families. These feral cats are so grateful for a second chance at life.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters will fill out an adoption contract. You must be willing to have a home visit prior to being approved.
The adoption contract covers the following items:
-you can not declaw the cat
-if the adoption does not work out, or if at any time you can no longer care for the cat you will contact Mountain Cats and return the cat
-you can not sell or give away the cat for any reason
-the cat will be an indoor cat unless Mountain Cats and the adopter have made other arrangements
Adoption fee is $100
