Jedi is a 5-year-old orange tabby with a gentle, sensitive soul. He’s a shy boy who finds comfort tucked under cozy blankets, watching the world from his safe little hideaway. He is coming out of his shell more and more, and immediately crawled out from his little hideaway to come say hi when he heard me opening his kennel! The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana's Adoption Policy
We require a "foster to adopt" program for all adopters, whether it be that the pet that you are interested in still has some medical work up to be done or whether we just want to give the pet time to adjust. An application is required to be filled out at the time of adoption. No appointment required to visit the animals during open hours. Upon finalizing adoption, each pet is current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV test and/or heartworm tested. All animals over 7 years of age will have bloodwork performed at the vet. All known medical issues will be taken care of at the vet prior to finalizing adoption (dental cleanings, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc.).
