Jazz's Story

Meet Jazz & Snickers
Jazz is a rare male calico, 5-years-oldand Snickers is a 4-year-old tuxedo girl. These two sweet kitties have spent their entire lives together with the same person, so coming to the shelter has been a heartbreaking and overwhelming change for them.
Their person recently had to move into a nursing home, and suddenly Jazz and Snickers lost the only family and home they had ever known. When they first arrived, they were so frightened that they were literally trembling. The shelter environment is understandably scary for them, but through it all, they have each other-and you can see how much comfort they find in being together.
Jazz and Snickers are bonded and must be adopted together. After losing the person they loved and trusted for their entire lives, they deserve to have each other as they make this big transition. We are still getting to know them since they are new to us, but what we already know is that they are incredibly sweet and that they clearly have a very special bond.
They will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give them the time and quiet environment they need to feel safe again. With each other by their side and a little time to decompress, we hope these two wonderful cats will soon discover that they are safe, loved.
