Jazmine's Story

Hello there, dear reader. My name is Jazmine, and I am a tale of contrasts—a kitten whose chapters are still being written. I came to this sanctuary as a young soul, curious and full of the mischievous spirit that defines us felines. Those who have known me longest speak of my sweeter moments, when I enjoy cuddles and playful adventures, when I purr through gentle grooming-like nibbles and soft licks. I have always eaten well and shown a keen interest in the comforts of a warm home, and I do so love the attention of those patient enough to understand me.

Like any good story, mine has its more complex passages. I am still learning to trust, and sudden handling or stressful situations can make me reactive—a reminder that every creature has their own threshold for patience and fear. But what makes a true narrative compelling is growth and potential, and I believe mine is yet to unfold. I am looking for a person or family who will read my story carefully, who will move slowly and let me set the pace of our friendship, and who will understand that beneath any defensive moments lies a kitten who simply needs time, consistency, and gentle hands to become the companion I long to be.
How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center.

*I’m living behind the scenes, please fill out an adoption survey if you’re interested in meeting me.*

~My adoption fee is $65.00.~
