Meet Jay-Z — A Sweet Boy Ready for His Forever Home <br/><br/>Jay-Z has spent his entire life living outdoors, but despite everything, this wonderful boy has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, gentle, and trusting.<br/><br/>For the past three years, Jay-Z lived with a family with children who cared about him but kept him outside because of allergies. When he became sick with worms, they took him to the veterinarian—and that visit changed his life.<br/><br/>The vet immediately recognized that this handsome fellow appeared to be a blue point bi-color Ragdoll mix and contacted Merlin’s Hope Ragdoll Rescue to see if we could give him the chance to finally experience life as an indoor cat.<br/><br/>Of course, we said yes. <br/><br/>Jay-Z is now safely in foster care, where he has discovered some of the finer things in life: air-conditioning, plenty of good food, soft places to sleep, and—most importantly—all the love and attention he can get.<br/><br/>And Jay-Z LOVES affection. This mellow, easy-going boy soaks up attention and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. After spending so many years outside, he deserves a home where he will never have to wonder again whether he is safe, loved, warm, or fed.<br/><br/>Jay-Z is approximately 7–8 years old. He gets along well with other cats and has experience around children. With his relaxed, affectionate personality, we believe he could fit beautifully into many different kinds of homes.<br/><br/>He may look a little rough around the edges right now after years of outdoor living, but we can already see the gorgeous, fluffy boy waiting to emerge.
