Jax is a very chatty, sweet, and affectionate 2-3 year old Domestic Short Hair that was brought to SCAC originally as a stray, but he was adopted and returned due to his previous home no longer being a good fit. This sweet boy enjoys climbing the cat tree, string toys, catnip, and his feline friends. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy
Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
