My favorite place in the world is curled up quietly on your lap while you work, relax, or watch TV and sleeping in bed with you at night is a non-negotiable!<br/><br/>Life didn’t always look like this for me. I was abandoned and spent years surviving on the streets, even getting by with an injured leg at one point. Because of that, I take a few days to build trust, but once I do, I give my whole heart. <br/><br/>I’m a timid guy and not really the playing type. Habitat 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Adopters must visit with a potential pet and adoption counselor. We prefer that all family members and pets are present during this process to ensure a good fit. If all goes well, adopters will complete an application. After application approval, a home visit will be scheduled.  We do not hold pets nor do we adopt on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to find the home that best fits that pet’s needs. Adoption fees are $225 for dogs, $275 for puppies under 1 year of age, $185 for cats and kittens.  All pets will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations and microchip, will be tested for common diseases, and kept current on heartworm and flea preventative. Habitat 4 Paws will host regular offsite adoptions, food drives, microchip clinics and fundraising events. Stay up to date through our website and Facebook page!
