Jasper is an absolute love-bug of a kitty, who wants nothing more than to be showered in your love. When he is pet, he becomes so happy that he flops over and places his head in your hand. Sometimes he is so elated that he even drools! Jasper is FeLV positive, but can still live a happy and healthy life. <br/><br/>This handsome guy is a staff and volunteer favorite and has been since he joined us last august, all the way from Memphis, TN. FeLV positive but full of love, Jasper would do best as an only cat or in a home with other FeLV-positive cats. A calm indoor lifestyle, routine veterinary care, good nutrition, and lots of love go a long way in helping FeLV-positive cats thrive.<br/><br/>Jasper doesn’t know he’s any different — he just knows he loves attention, cozy naps, and being adored. He deserves the same chance at a loving home as any other cat. If you’re ready for a gentle, devoted companion with a heart full of love, Jasper is your boy

Please be aware that all potential adopters will need to meet the following requirements: Must be 18 years of age Have current identification showing your current address (if the address on your license is outdated, please bring a utility bill with your current address) Please note: HSNT strives to spay or neuter all pets before they enter our adoption program. However, in the event you select a pet that has not been altered, you will need to leave the pet at the shelter for a few days until they can be fixed. Adoption Services & Fees The adoption fees at the Humane Society of North Texas range from $15 to $325 for pets and up to $2,500 for equine. Adoption fees are determined based on a variety of factors such as age, size, length of stay, and public demand. We do our best to ensure our adoption fees are reasonable and affordable to the general public. That is why we set fees well below the actual cost of your pets' care during their stay. The adoption fees help HSNT to cover a portion of the cost of your pet's medical care, food, and housing during their stay with us. Each pet adopted from HSNT is: Spayed or neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccinations Dewormed Heartworm tested (dogs over 6 months old) Every pet adoption also comes with: A free vet exam A cardboard carrier or slip-lead leash 30 days of free pet insurance A free week of virtual training through Good Pup
