What is Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth’s adoption process?

Once a potential adopters inquires about a pet, the foster home schedules a virtual meeting. After meeting the pet, we email them an adoption application to complete and return. The adopter may meet the pet in person. We interview the potential adopter over the phone and reach out to 2 references. We also call their veterinarian to confirm any current pets are up to date on all vaccinations and spayed/neutered. A committee approves the adopter and we send them an approval email. The adopter pays the adoption fee and works with the foster home to pick up the animal.
