Jasmine's Story
Jasmine is an 8 month spayed female brown tabby domestic short hair. Because of the ongoing construction at the shelter Jasmine spent time in a foster home, with her sister Phoebe, after being surrendered. Her foster mom reports that she is very people oriented and lovey. She wants to be petted all the time, and really leans into it. She got along very well with the other adult cats in her foster home. She is a bit uncomfortable in noisy or “busy” situations, and startles easily. She does not like being picked up. We don’t know how she would react to a dog. Jasmine would do best in a quiet home without young children, and with patient people who will give her time to blossom. She is not particularly bonded to her sister and wouldn’t mind going her own way. She might adjust to a very calm, older dog who would give her space. And she probably would like the company of other cats, as they would have a calming influence on her.
