Jaq's Story

Meet Jaq. This handsome orange boy is looking for his new home. Jaq is a shy guy with a heart of gold. While hes not always sure about the world around him, hes always been polite and curious. He loves friendly kitty friends, and dogs are pretty ok too, so long as theyre not too excited. His ideal home is one with a human thats patient and lives a quieter lifestyle. If the house is too loud and boisterous, youre not likely to see much of him. Hes a smart cookie and will let you know politely when its food time. If youre late, youre sure to hear his soft dainty voice give you a reminder as he sits beside you with his big round eyes letting you know its food oclock!

While always a gentleman, he can be a bit unsure at times. When he does get attention, those chin scratches remind him life isnt so scary and hes sure to offer some purrs and make some muffins. While hes not your next lap cat, hes sure to offer a sweet partnership. Whether in a home or your next barn kitty watching over the horses and saddles, hes sure to warm your heart with that sweet face. And who knows maybe hes waiting to be a lap cat for his one special person.

Jaq is altered. He is feline leukemia/FIV/HW negative, microchipped and vaccinated. He is not declawed.

Because Jaq is being fostered, an application will need to be filled out before a meet and greet.

Adoption information and fees can be found on our website: www.windmillanimalrescue.com. Please send an email to windmillanimalrescue@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

Adoption fee includes initial immunizations, neuter/spay, microchip and any other test/vet visits needed.

The shelter is housed in and supported by Windmill Feed and Supply Company in Elko New Market, MN where many pet supplies can be purchased.

Please visit our website www.windmillanimalrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available cats and small animals available for adoption.

ADOPTION INFORMATION To adopt an animal you must complete these steps: Fill out the Pre-Adoption Application. Obtain by writing to windmillanimalrescue@yahoo.com. Wait for approval from at least three Board Members. Select and meet your pet before, after, or during the first two steps. Obtain all necessary supplies for your new pet before adoption day. Food and litter are available for purchase at the shelter. Complete the Final Adoption Agreement and pay the necessary adoption fee before leaving the Windmill Animal Rescue with your new forever friend. Because of the shelter circumstances, the cats are indoor/outdoor kitties.
