January's Story
Hi, my name is January. I am estimated to be about 9 years old. I came to the shelter 11/4/25 as part of a cruelty case. I was confined to a cat carrier for as long as I can remember. I had no litter box, no bed, no blanket, nothing. Just food and sometimes water. I’ve never been in any type of home before, so adjusting to a house may be difficult for me but I am up for the challenge. I’ve had trouble consistently using my litter box since being at the shelter, but since being neutered, I've only had a few accidents outside of the box. That is a huge step for me and I'm proud of myself for making it! It may seem like a small accomplishment, but for me, it means my chances at finding a home greatly increased. I would suggest checking with staff members if you are interested in me and just making sure that I've still been consistently using my litter box. I'm a very friendly boy and I'm so excited for this next chapter in my life. I have an ulcer in my right eye, but it is currently being treated, and I should heal up just fine!
