James is our little cow kitty with a handsome goatee. He is very timid, but loves to interact with toys and treats. Feather wands are his favorite, but the ball track is a close second. His sister, Maya, gives him the courage to accept gentle petting, and he enjoys soft scritches on the side of his face. She brings out James' curiosity and is a very reassuring presence for him.<br/><br/>James is about 6 months old and shares a cage with his littermate Maya. They are very snuggly together, and he is very bonded to her. They run around together all morning, bouncing from toy to toy as they wait for breakfast. Maya makes him feel safe, and they are to be adopted as a pair.<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. We do not adopt first come; we always select the best placement for our animals. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes FIV/FeLV testing, flea/tick preventatives, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter if six months or older.
