JALAPENO's Story

Jalapeno - Male - Born 3/30/2026<br/><br/>Jalapeño is gorgeous tabby boy and the only boy out of the litter of 4. As the big brother (and he IS quite a big boy!), he takes his duties very seriously and he takes wonderful care of his little sisters. Hes blossomed into quite the snuggle bug, and absolutely LOVES to be stroked and brushed. He is reserved at first and prefers to quietly observe his surroundings at first, but he warms up quickly and will be asking for cuddles in no time. While he of course has the quintessential kitten energy, he has a calm presence about him. Hes a bit of an old soul! He does well with other cats (with a proper introduction), and has done wonderfully with respectful, calm children. <br/><br/>He uses a scratching post well, has impeccable litter pan habits, and he is comfortable being picked up once he gets to know you. <br/><br/>Jalapeno's Adoption fee is: $150<br/>This includes Spay/Neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, FELV/FIV Testing, pyrantel dewormer and microchip.<br/><br/>Our adoption application can be found online at: <br/>https://kittiesforkeepsrescue.com/applications<br/><br/>Please consider SPONSORING or DONATING to help with our foster cats and kittens medical needs. Kitties For Keeps Rescue's Adoption Policy
We require all potential adopters to fill out our adoption application which can be found on our website. All applications are carefully screened, vet references are checked, home visits, and if renting, landlords will be contacted to make sure pets are allowed. We do not do same day adoptions. There are times we have several applications on one cat or kitten and we want to find the best match between the family, and the cat's personality.
